Trenchless Drain Rehab Restores Apartment Drain lines in Historic Houston Heights¬†Continuous complaints of sewer stoppage and sewer gas odor from longtime building residents alarmed building management of a potentially dangerous problem. The building management contracted a local drain cleaning company to snake the drains and hopefully give the residents some immediate relief. Following hours of unsuccessful attempts to unstop the sewer drain system, it was concluded that the building’s deteriorated cast iron drain system had long over reached its life span and was unable to clear. At this point, management brought in Accurate Leak & Line to fully diagnose the problem and provide options for repair. Upon Video Camera Inspection, it was clear to see that the building main drain was severely deteriorated and leaking throughout below the slab of the building. Accurate Leak Proposed method of Trenchless Epoxy Pipelining throughout the existing main line to permanently repair and renew the system.A traditional repair would have consisted of major excavation and destruction throughout the buildings occupied units and severe disruption to the tenants. Austin Water Repair Line Featured - water line repair
Austin Home Saved From Major Structural and Cosmetic Destruction¬†This beautiful 1970’s Creek Lot home located in Austin had seen its share of fresh water copper pinhole slab leaks, 5 to be exact. There was original brick flooring throughout the home and flat roofed with no attic space available for a water line reroute. Throughout the years the slab leaks had been excavated and repaired, the flooring patched with a small amount of matching brick the original owners had left over from initial construction. However, the fourth leak took the last of the matching flooring and the homeowners were faced with the possibility of a non-matching brick patch, a cosmetically devastating interior wall reroute, or completely re-flooring their home. The fifth leak just happened to be located in the center of their living room, thus a ugly patch was not an option.Due to the overwhelming cost associated with completely re-flooring their home and great sentimental value of the original brick and interior, the homeowners did not want to replace all of the flooring throughout the house or shred the walls and ceilings. Accurate Leak & Line was referred by neighbors as well as their long-time local plumber whom has dealt with the re-occurring slab leaks and had recommended Accurate on many occasions. The Accurate water lining crew accessed the house water supply system from existing openings (supply stops beneath fixtures and water heaters etc.) in order to clean and epoxy coat the entire water piping system throughout the slab and walls. The process was completed in two days, permanently repairing the existing water leak with no destruction to the home and a transferrable warranty guaranteeing no further leaks throughout the entire system. It was safe to say, the couple was very pleased to keep their vintage brick flooring without cosmetically destroying their beautiful home’s interior.Learn More about Trenchless Water Line Repair
